How do you clone wordpress

Not sure what you want to do exactly, but in a manual fashion it would be just to make a copy of the files, take a dump of the database and search/replace urls/file paths(if necessary), reload modified sql file into new db, change new wp config to point to that db.
BackupBuddy is another good paid option.

I googled and followed a video on youtube on cloning a site for free which didn't really work. Then tried wp-cloner plugin which messed up on me and I ended up unable to log in to the original blog for days. Shit, I tried for 2 days. I get it, I'm new & stupid.
I'll stick to finding instructions of the free option through forums or get someone to do it for cheaper than those damn plugins.
