How do wp business directory and phpLD compare?

Is there anyone here who used both WP business directory plugin and phpLD and has a strong preference for one or the other?

I searched but couldn't find any comparison of the two and I'd rather not have to switch script mid-way because it is missing something subtle but necessary.
 


I'm just about to try wordpress for a directory. I've had a PHPld one for many years but it's such a feckin pain to update and work on. They really need to get their shit together as it could be awesome. That's the great thing about wp - the community keeps coming out with new plugins and it's just so much more flexible.
 
Tucky, which version of phpLD do you have? I had a license for 3 once and it was a bit of a pain. Version 5 seemed to look better, but I haven't actually used it.
 
I'm stuck on 4. Held back on updating because there were always issues with first releases and then after a while realised from speaking to a few guys on the forum that v5 was a bit of a pain so now I'm waiting for 6! They need the next one to be more like WP where you can update without any hassle.
