I couldnt think of anywhere else to put it so...

I want to automate a task. It has to be able to sign up on a flash based form. Check a web based email address for a confirmation link. Click the confirmation link. Then, it needs to input a few strings of data into the web form a few times. and Repeat.

Each time, the email address has to change (either add a number or I can specify a list).

What kind of windows program would be good for that?

EDIT - GAH! THERES A CAPTCHA! Well mega +rep for captcha recognizing programs and +rep for form filling programs that just ask me to keep putting in captchas all day.

Buy a Mac and use Applescript.

Applescript can script most Mac apps. Including Safari.

Ah. I got it. Im slowly automating my way to world domination.

Anyone want to speed my path to world domination up by pointing me to a CAPTCHA recognizer. It needs to be a Windows application, not a PHP script.

CAPTCHAs look like:

Id seriously give some mondo rep and help to someone who can point me in the right direction on this one...

You could always hire me. Im a kick-ass captcha recognizer.

Here... Ill give you one for free. The captcha you posted is 8d26DL

PM me if you're interested ;)

Oh, and to be just a little bit helpful, I remember Eli posting something about making a captcha recognizer using a proxy site and getting the users to solve the captcha before being able to surf. Search the bluehatseo site.

Yeah. I saw that. Ingenious concept but its not that big of a deal. I just want alot of coke rewards points accounts ;)

He. I remember in my net-infancy some no-profit org had a deal with Amazon, that whenever someone subscribed to their newsletter (the non-prof's newsletter) the subscriber got a $5 gift certificate. As this was in the 90's there was no captcha and Amazon still allowed you to use multiple certificates on any order. And I had a domain with catch-all email.
Needles to say, I have quite a few tech-books from that era ;)

And Amazon even send me a large thermo-mug for christmas :D

Look into OCR, or better yet ICR, or you could always read the following.
