How bad does my design suck?

Im more of a programmer by nature...My design skills are lacking to say the least....

What do you think of my design? Its not complete but im looking for opinions on what I have so far...

Lets put it like this...ive seen ALOT worse=) I would make the yellow / gold, a bit lighter and get rid of most of the text reflections, they just look[SIZE=-1] cliché[/SIZE]

It has a muddy feel to it right now. Try some more color combos. Lighter grays / brighter oranges. Needs more experimentation, good start.

If you are gonna go with that style here are some what i think are improvements.

It's a pretty nice design for something... But it has wrong feeling for what it's about.

You need less gray. Either go darker or lighter, but you're too in-between right now.

fleming, as far as I can tell, you have reflections on your website too, and you didn't even flip them.

Get rid of the shading and background stuff on the left part case studies and that will help.

You went a bit over the top with the reflections. Maybe keep the one on the main header text and get rid of the rest.
