How about going to a single party in any disco nearby?
Setting up a small "booth" at the entry with laptop + digicam + picturemail.
Make pictures of people, send them the pics via email, including some blabla and aff link to the dating site.

Any experience in this?!

better idea,

give "coupon" for dating subscription when dude buys pickup arts product XYZ which has a affiliate commision greater-equal to the price of a month at the dating site. Choose the revenue share for payouts.

an easier way to make some bucks with AFF is by creating a profile using some hot chicks photos (say from myspace), post some ads on cl or gumtree saying you want to hook up with some guys etc...

then send that link out to those guys, they sign up to AFF for free to view the hot pics and you make some cash.

I've actually made quite a bit of $$ off FF via a dating advice site I used to manage. It's all in how you work it, but you're right, it is a LOT of work.

The online dating industry and people who promote them is far too saturated.

It definately would raise concerns pretty much no matter where you go. You'd need to ask the advertiser first before doing something like that or you might get your account terminated as you're not following the guidelines for most affiliate programs. We've definately had advertisers from time to time that accepted this kind of traffic from affiliates. Mall/College Campus kiosks, that kinda thing.
