Any recommended hosting rating/reviews site that you trust? For international hosting (ie US UK AU etc).
Lots are out there, but many aren't objective since they get commissions and that kinda shit.

The best review site would probably be Web Hosting Talk - The largest, most influential web hosting community on the Internet You can search their forums for reviews or post a thread to ask feedback from the general public there.

^ WHT is especially good for VPS, Reseller and dedicated reviews.

I would say steer clear form the hosting rating review sites.
They are often just tools for the web hosts who pay advertising (or are actually owned by the web host themselves).

As mentioned, check the forums for real reviews.
Usually pretty obvious which posts are blatant self serving plugs.

SEO marketers tend to be pretty honest, since it's their business after all, so check Google for SEO expert web host recommendations, etc.
