I am with Dreamhost: extremely cost effective company to host with, upgraded bandwidth plus storage every week for free, and great customer support. Quite the deal..
 


I have heard so many horrible things about DreamHost until I could not remember.

I like Site5. The smartest host!

I've got a couple sites with Dreamhost, only because they cost me $9.24 for the whole year. (use code 777, it still works). Only problem is, I hate Dreamhost. They really do suck. I've had more stupid, little problems with them, than any other host. And the service I've received is "Uh, did you check the knowlegebase?" Of course I did you fuck! Hell, they had me locked out of the FTP for 3 days once. I complained, nothing happened ("Uh, did you check the knowlegebase?") and then all of a sudden, everything worked again.

If you want a real host, go with Lunarpages. Those people have their shit together. I have never had any issues with them and their support is out of this world. Phone or email support kicks ass with them.

Okay, I'm done ranting. Sorry, just a knee jerk reaction whenever I hear Dreamhost. :disgust:

Naw, actually, I enjoy a good rant myself. Especially when Jon rips up on someone like Shoemoney! I love that stuff!

I host all my sites myself on my dedicated servers, which are from SurpassHosting.com
