OK so I normally host my niche sites on seperate shared accounts so each domain gets a random ip. However, I've just ordered a bunch of domains for a niche and I won't be creating a one way link network out of these, they will each simply be pointing to one domain which is hosted elsewhere.

So its 20 domains on one ip linking to 1 domain on a different ip.

Here's what I'm unsure of... is this OK in terms of SEO?

Will it raise any flags by the Googlebots?

Am I being paranoid?

Answer me, bitches.

I think you're just being paranoid.
Honestly?

It's a pretty valid concern. Interlinking sites on one ip doesn't give any good link juice, even if you do it through one way links, hence the reason why people host on cheap c-class ip's. Although your only sending a link from each site to just one site hosted on a different ip Google still analyses which sites have linked to you, and when there's a shitload of links coming from the same ip it's pretty reasonable to question whether those links will hold any weight or not, nay?

"hence the reason why people host on cheap c-class ip's." It is one of ways out,
correctly. And google......... It always analyzes analyzes analyzes.... ^)

Anyway to back that with some proof ?

I wouldn't sweat the separate ip's. I know guys running large networks of sites all on the same IP and the all link together. They seem to be doing just fine on google.

Definitely don't think it has much of an impact. Think of shared servers and how many sites they could host.

Most of my sites are on 1 IP, with a couple on seperate IPs just because. No problems with ranking high for keywords that have strong compitetion. Focus on getting your sites designed properly, having quality content, and getting people to actually visit and G will take care of the rest.
