Need Help: Hosting - High Availability required
Currently working with storm on demand with a 4gb instance, and was suggested to build a 2nd 4g instance with a load balancer...I'm getting mixed reviews from thier tech/sales team claiming load balanced servers are only good for 1-2 domains.
Had a media buy running and they had a hardware malfunction on my server which caused it to go down. I'm trying to avoid that in the future by re-evaluating my server setup.
What is the best setup that will create redundancy in case the main server goes down. Note, the traffic is from media buys all to 50+ hosted LP's
My thoughts were -
Adserver -> Hosted LPs and Tracker on (2x 4gb instances + load balancer + Cloudflare or Amazon Cloudfront CDN)
Additionally can choose to use their SSD servers, budget $500/mo for full setup
any suggestions welcomed.
