Anyone know a good hosting company who will allow Adult sites on their servers?

Cheers

If you're serious, dont bother with dreamhost. The uptime issues and database latency will drive you nuts. You get what you pay for for in hosting. You cant run a business on $9 a month hosting.

Can i pay any of these with PayPal?

edit: Nevermind, i can't!

Does anyone with a Dedi feel like setting me up if i pay them with PayPal?

bam bam get a debit card if you don't have a credit card.

btw that anhosting deal above expires today.

As much as that makes sense, i can't.

Noone will give me plastic without a 1,000,000% interest rate because of my debts.

But a debit card doesn't involve any credit. It's a prepaid card.

Does hostgator do adult? I didn't know that.

Ah i didn't read that above properly. I've got 2 debit cards, neither of which are Visa or Mastercard. Which is what they ask for.

BUT

I've given up with the Adult idea, and i've got a reseller account from Reseller / Hosting Zoom.

You could try get the paypal debit card.

With regards to where to get your dedicated server from, your budget and requirements will likely pick that along with the provider. Do you need a managed server or do you have enough skills to operate the server? That in itself will decide whether you pay higher fees or not.

Servage are shite. I've been hacked once, they change server configs without warning, their email server (at least the one I've been placed on) rarely works without a glitch, their support is terrible and, it seems, quite willing to not read any tickets you send them before replying, there is substantial downtime, and they are absolutely, completely and utterly overselling.

Just my opinion. I wrote a post about Servage some months ago in reply to a question from LazyHippy, and I wasn't thrilled about them then. It's only gone downhill from there.

But... yes, they do allow Adult sites.
