Hostgator wont allow me to addon a new domain

I'm trying to install prosper202 and ive got everything set up to the point where I'm on filezilla and trying to upload the files to a new subdomain.

So I go to my cpanel and click addon domains, fill everything out and click generate! and I get a message saying there was an error creating the addondomain.

So I click showmessage and it says: "Sorry, you are not allowed to add any more than (0) addon domains! The domain below was not setup! "

Is this because I am a hatchling? Do I need to upgrade my account or sth? :(
 


You need baby croc or higher - it's the $9.95/month plan (or $7.95 if you pay for too many years in advance).
 
I think you need to click "subdomains" via the CPanel instead of Add-On Domains.
The add-on domain section is for hosting an outside domain from a different registrar
 
ohh yay that was it! subdomain and not addon domain! thanks so much jamman!

prosper202 is now up and running :D
