HostGator Mysql issues... ugh. Any help?

Getting this fun error while trying to install a yummy piece of software:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'mememe_mrkt1'@'ns2600.hostgator.com' (using password: YES) in /home/mememe/public_html/marketplace/install/index.php on line 214

The database name, username, and password are all 100% correct.

I've tried remaking the database, users, etc. Still same error repeatedly. Any ideas?

server: localhost
user: mememe_mrkt1
password: your root password

Nevermind, solved it.

Ticketed host for Mysql database IP which was apparently different than my sites IP, which I didn't realize at first.
