My hosting did a migration and my VPS IP changed over the weekend.

My nameservers, etc, took a couple days to propogate. All of my Wordpress sites appear to be working (with one exception) - however, the admin functions and UI are slow as crap.

For example, if I activate a new theme the UI just hangs when I re-load the page. It takes about 5 minutes before the main site URL will load with the new theme.

I do not see any permissions changes, etc,. All of my file system appears intact.

Is there something in Wordpress I need to update? I've googled everything I can about wp-config.php and a few other things and none of those appear to embed IP addresses at all.

I would not think that would happen simply from a DNS/IP propagation. There's gota be more to it than that. In the admin section does your blog's address reference by domain or by IP? You can check via mysql in wp_options if the admin panel is being too slow.

Also if you do a phpinfo(); , is the new server ( i assume what you mean by migration ) using the same PHP version as the other?

Do you know what kind of virtualization this VPS is on? It could be oversold which may cause some slowness.

As it turns out the slowness went away -right after I remembered I was using cellular broadband during one mofo of a snowstorm.

Sometimes the obvious things escape me....
