Of all the sites that you run, how would you rate them as far as maintenance goes?

I have a blog site in development, e.g., and linked a phpbb forum to the homepage. I think the forum adds some value to the site, but not enough to justify the trouble of deleting 10-12 spammer accounts I get every day there, and the day to day monitoring of a forum. There just isn't enough traffic to justify the cost of my time, so I decided to concentrate on writing for the blog and loading the (hidden) affiliate links. It's also very unclear how a forum can be monetized anyway.

The flagship site in my siggie is fairly high maintenance, and I accept that due to the nature of the business model. The blogs - not so much.

How about yours?

When I first started about 6 months ago my goal was to set up a network of "set it and forget it" type of websites, that required the least amount of maintenance possible.

I also had a blog, definitely wasn't worth the time I put into it, but I learned a lot from it.

My newest project is going to be a full time job if all goes as planned. I'll be brokering high dollar ecommerce deals, collecting and selling leads, and dealing with clients on the phone constantly. I should be pulling in some decent cash though. I'm extremely excited about it, I think I'm on to a great idea, and this could be the project that will finally allow me to be self employed.

So, if all goes as planned, my main website will be extremely high maintenance.
