HELP me sites shut down

OK so i pissed of a company because i had a Trade mark in the domain.. so now i need to 301 it to a new domain that is less offensive and move my site to that domain its a Wordpress install.. and It turns out i know jack about how to do this just have an idea of what needs to be done... So if someone would be so kind to hit me up on aim at Strat505... I will be very greatful.

You'll have to set up the new site, then 301 redirect your old pages to it.

1)backup WP database
2)clean install WP on new domain
3)restore old DB to new WP install
4)301 forward old domain to new

.htaccess / 301 redirect an entire site to new domain = much better
You dont want to 301 every page to the home page or anything like that.
When Google sees redirects it wants to see it page->similar/identical page, not all pages->homepage

Done and Done did all that.. i didn't back up the database i just modified it to accommodate the new domain ... other that I got it all running smoothly thanks for the tips..

I might need to change hosting as they were very quick to take my entire account of about 15 sites down and make me unable to comply with the "requests" I got in the email...took me 3 hours to get them to bring it back up just so i could fix it. Good times
