Alright, let's face it, nobody wants to help you because the more of you that succeed, the more competition. However, since I did really well today, I decided to help you guys out a little and started a blog that will get you rolling. Now it's not some fancy page with a lot of cool flashing things and cute little buttons, but it just puts the info out there plain and simple. Isn't that essentially what you want?

If you are still doing research or just launching your first campaign, give it a shot and look through it. I will blog daily on it (it is not an ebook) I don't flood it with links, just some good info you can hopefully put to use. The big shots are going to flame me, I really don't give a fuck 'cause while they are doing that I am working my ass off to steal their keywords. But I would like some feedback from you newer guys.

Check it out, let me know what you think: http://www.ridingtoriches.com

And yes, I didn't forget them:

Well, if he's making 50-60K a year in high school then good for him. I know I didn't make that kind of money in high school (then again, I didn't work). However, I doubt your making 50K+ a year.

PS- nice blogspot

Edit: FYI- People can read your previous posts:

So the past week (since Sunday) I have been doing pretty good considering this is my first week of marketing. Overall I have profited over $75, today though, (and a little yesterday) were a little slow. I'm down about $16, when Monday I had profited $50 at one point. Now is this just bad luck or is it something wrong with the ads? I'm still getting a good amount of clicks but have had 1 conversion and 94 clicks. Do I really need to write new ads?

Alright so after 2 consecutive days of losses I figure others are feeling it too. So Tuesday was a really good day, yesterday was horrible, and today not much better. Anyone else noticing it? Hopefully things will turn around this weekend, but then again, it is affiliate marketing.

I read a thread on wickedfire about someone who was making close to $1k a day from marketing on Yahoo answers. I have been trying it the last couple of days with berriez but not seeing any conversions nor any clicks..... obviously I'm not going around spamming url's I have a good 4 paragraph answer with the link near the bottom, any input as to what I could be doing wrong?

Can you please tell me again how you make 50-60K a year?

Combined with Dimaseo's post and your "I'll be honest" post, you just sound like a douchebag. Where's the actual help?

1. I do, so shouldn't I be entitled to act snobby? All you hear about is people losing in there first 3 months which. Yes I act arrogant on my blog, then don't read it, ever think I do that to make it a little more interesting? figure that noobs (I'll include myself in that group as well) don't like researching, so why not make it a little fun?

2. Yes I'm not as experienced as some of you, however, it seems that this section gets more flaming than it does good information. Nothing against WF, hell I refer to them as the best source of info in my blog.

3. And last, the shit I'm talking about on the blog is basic, shit I do every fucking day. I'm not trying to talk about the stuff I haven't learned. I will when I learn which is the great thing about a blog, being able to You can see that in the domain name.

And yes I know people can read my previous posts, I don't fucking care, what do I have to hide? Like I said, I don't give a fuck what the hot shots in here think.

My final solution:
The more you flame and talk about it + me acting more and more arrogant and snobby = people more intrigued to read it

Like I said, flame away and thank you for the free traffic.

Grab that scroll bar on your right, scroll it on up to "You Will Fail" read it, refresh it sometime later today there will be a new post.

No, it doesn't. Have some humility. I realize that the atmosphere here encourages arrogance, but look at all the people that make a shit load more money than you that don't act snobby or arrogant. My advice, tone it down man. $60,000 per year isn't much in this industry.

Do you know how much I make? Nope and nobody ever will, but it's a sight bit more than that. So, should I act snobby and arrogant? Not at all. I'm here to help people make more money and that kind of attitude doesn't help anyone. It's frustrating to me to get AIM messages from people: "well, I asked so-and-so and they told me to figure it out myself or read the forum, etc" That sort of elitism is bullshit. Everyone starts out with virtually nothing and has to claw their way up from the bottom. We've all lost money, but in the long run hopefully we all make some.

So, tone it down a bit. You don't have the experience or pocketbook to act like a complete ass and all you'll do is alienate people with that sort of attitude.

/edit/ and quit posting boobs with your questions. While boobs are fun (I personally LOVE them) it's unprofessional and makes it harder for people to take you seriously. Keep the boob threads for the Shooting the Shit section.

Yes 60k is not a lot in this industry. But take into consideration 2 things:
I am not even an adult, I do this on top of school work etc, and this Saturday will mark the 3 month milestone of making money online for me. I can give myself a little credit for that and that every week my profits increase from the previous, this week it may be 60k a year, next it could be 65k, but it's always going up.

"Most people fail. Seriously, don’t quit your dayjob. Don’t drop out of college. Don’t invest any money you aren’t comfortable losing in PPC." - Nickycakes.com

Sure I don't think I'm a prodigy, I definitely think I have a pretty good future if I continue to work hard. But let me clarify something, the reason I act so arrogant, snobby, or whatever you want to call it on the blog is to make it different. There are so many blogs out there by affiliate marketers, that to me, sound the same.

It's like taking a business idea to an investor, if you have an idea that is similar to an existing business, the first question he/she is going to ask you is "what makes your business different from the rest?". There aren't a 100 successful Berkshire Enterprises or a 100 successful Microsofts. If my blog is not successful which I'm not holding my breath for, then I've wasted $5 and maybe an hour of my time QQ.

Yes I want to help people starting out too. I may act or write in a way that would not make it seem so, but again, that's just how my blog is. Why do I want to help people? Well honestly, it gives me opportunity, if people begin enjoying my blog posts and advice, then if I ever wanted to stat a network or any project that would require a network of people that trusted me, I have that. Sure helping people is a priority but it is not my main priority, I'm sorry, it isn't but I do want great content on there so people enjoy my site and come back.

And for those of your starting out, like Mike said, you really do have to work from the bottom up. Think of it like the Mafia.....

I am going to continue to write the way I do on my blog, I have not and will not write that way on WF. If people want to hear that and probably pick up some good info too, they know where to go.

note: I'm going to lay off the boob posts, sorry. But yes that one on my other thread is cute Mike. I had fun finding her.

nope, and any kid who is 17 and has made that much in a matter of months, come forward.

I know plenty of kids your age and younger that make a whole lot more than that. I'm a bit older than you, by a whole 2 years and make more. However that isn't the point, if your going to deliver quality information just do it, keep your attitude in check because you might be doing well now and then you campaign that you found dies and your back to square one.

P.S. Lots of kids are in high school or college and doing this, so don't think your special ;)

Well I think that's the point, don't say you make 60k a year when you haven't. It makes you look like an idiot that isn't familiar with this business to take what you made last week and average it out for a year and say "I make this much per year".

If you want to brag about income just say you made a little over 1k last week and are hoping to make more this week. To me that sounds much better then someone that has been doing this 3 months stating a yearly income. But that's just IMHO.

Oh and congratulations on your success! I know it feels great but you might want to seriously consider keeping your mouth shut about how much you make. It just makes you a target in SO MANY WAYS I don't understand how it could possibly be worth it. It's just so exciting it's hard NOT to tell everyone how happy you are about your success.

I wanna know how you make 60k a year and drive a Porsche carrera GT

That will be mine someday, I did get to drive it a couple times though :)

Now KC. My campaign wont fail, unless human kind decides to stop mating. I'm sure you can guess what it is now. Not my only campaign, I have plenty of backup campaigns that make me money and ones ready to launch in the case it did ever fail.

Other kids make money too, great. For any kid to make more than most adults even in the middle of a recession is clearly doing something right. Although I may not be alone, I still have every right to make a blog outlining what I did/do. That's basically it, that and just talking about it in general. It seems that we have gotten off track on what the argument is here.

I have a blog that is harsh. Many people believe it is too hard on people and that I don't have the credibility to blog about it. Well there is that great little "X" in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. If you don't want to read something, hit that, and it's gone! And, nobody is forcing you to go back.

1. Thank you.
2. I don't go around saying it, somehow people have come up with this 60k number, yes it is around that but that's not the point. Again, I said that in the sense to get people interested in the blog, hey if you could make double what your teacher does, that is interesting stuff to read. And true. My paycheck last week was probably double than some of my teachers. I'm not bragging about it, people are taking a sentence I used in a blog post to attract readers and making it my official income... I may not make 60k this year. I may make less, I may surpass it, I understand that aspect of the business.

I like the site, I'm a noob to AM yet do programming/design/social media for an affiliate marketing company, and I agree with Chrisvon that I haven't found much help in this forum

I have found a lot of funny shit, boobs, and the sarcasm though, so I will follow your blog and let other people know what you are doing

I don't need to make 60k a year...I make money just fine...I would like to make an extra 1k a month just to invest or spend

I have a blog that is harsh.

Sorry. Juvenile is not "harsh."

I'm not saying you should change your style, only that you should refine it. Over-use of pejoratives robs them of their value.

I suggest concentrating on making a good, solid point, and sprinkling in your profanity for emphasis, rather than just carelessly tossing them into the middle of random sentences.

Glad to hear of your early success, and wishing you more in the future.

Yes 60k is not a lot in this industry. But take into consideration 2 things.......blah blah blah lots of words....

I'm not going to debate anything with. You started this worseless thread by asking what people think of your blog. Now you want to debate every point.

Grow the fuck up. Oh look! I said "fuck" :ugone2far: OMFG that makes my post much more valid.

Seriously, who gives a shit how old you are. Who cares what else is going on in your life. EVERYONE reading this pointless bullshit has things going on. YOU are NOT special. Period. End of story.

The real reason you even "asked" what people think of your blog is due to narcissism (and probably to get some people to read it). I couldn't get through a paragraph or two because it's so poorly written. The excessive number of "fucks" and "shits" and "bitches" makes it irritating as hell and virtually unreadable. I caught something about you promoting meatspin? WTF?

This thread is a complete waste of time and only serves to feed your over-inflated ego. To that end, I have half a mind to close it, but to satisfy the natives and popcorn eaters I'll leave it for now.
