I have two or three niches I'm looking at that are health-oriented. For those of you with websites on topics regarding health, do you have any disclaimers? Would you place one on each page or would the main page suffice?

Are you taking about health related advice? If so I would most definately have disclaimers. All it would take is someone using some bad advice and getting injured to BK you. :(

I'm looking at presenting the content in a way that makes it clear I'm just sharing experiences and opinions, and not giving advice. However, I feel like I would still need disclaimers. I'll probably put them in headers and footers on every page, if I do this at all.

The health industry offers so much potential, but I'm not sure the liability is worth it. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm getting ready for multiple offers in this arena, I hope to have a strong network of help, Dr, Baker will make sure that the incentives are excellent. I will have to sink a lot of money into building these products. Please PM me if interested, I am trying to get the best possible quality for the lowest price, so there is room for affiliates to bank.

I've done the health industry before. What I have found beneficial is to be very narrowly focused. If there is a specific condition, a specific product or even a specific health practitioner that you can build your offers around, it can be easier to find good, targeted traffic. And as you say, letting people know that it is for informational purposes IS necessary. Every page with a disclaimer would be best.

I agree that you have to be very specific, especially in the health industry. Even a "small niche" can represent a very large market. As for the disclaimer, that's a definite no matter what I do as long as it's remotely connected to health. I'm going to use a very prominent disclaimer. It might not be the greatest look visually for the page design, but I don't want to take any chances wih liability.
