Headway theme design question

I'm trying to give my sidebars a new color in Headway 2.0.13. It just stays the same color though (white).

So far I've tried all sidebar/widget/container color options in Headway, the widget does respond but I want my entire sidebar to have a new color, not just the widget. I've also tried a couple of CSS codes in the Live CSS editor in Headway and the custom css file in the Wordpress editor, it didn't work.

I've been googleing my ass off but can't seem to find an answer. Please help.

You have to edit the right html code to see change in color.Some times it may not show effects due to cookies in browser.Close browser,clear cookies and restart browser.
