Have you seen fantastic Adsense placement?

Have you ever seen a site that placed Adsense in such a way that you just thought, WOW! If you know of a site that has integrated Adsense, in a totally legal way, that looks fantastic, then please share it here. Needless to say I'm looking for ideas.

But you'd have to be a premium publisher for them to allow you to do something like that. We mere mortals are not allowed.

I used to love how ppl would put a half banner next to images on arcades, fair common now tho.

There was an awesome forum integration that a guy posted on the mybb forums. He added tables in between topics on the topics list that contained a similarly formatted half banner. It was slick!

when I first was the pictures above the ads on a site my jaw just hit the table it was such a good Idea. I went off to the adsens panel to see how I could implement it as I thought it was a google feature. lol.

Sorry, I really can't be bothered finding it. But it was super duper. The guy who had it was selling phpBB templates with the ad spaces in them, ready for you to change the publisher ID. Could be a pretty good investment.

When it comes to placing ads on the forum the CTR I have gotten is by throwing a leaderboard at the bottom of the thread just below the "Post Reply" and "New Thread".
