Have you Ever been banned from a program?

i have once been banned and lost 3800 $. Hardcore blackhat tactic and i forgot to hide my traces. But the experience was good. I have learned a lot from it.

I got banned from adwords, they said I broke their TOS but then would not explain

I've been banned from adsense.... But as far as affiliate networks I've never been banned as I always ask if something is ok first. Rarely do I ever hear no, no matter what it is and what network it is. This way if you get a complaint you can say hey you know what I was doing I'll just stop that. Communication is key in anything you do, always remember that. Just my personal opinion as I'm always looking to build relationships not destroy them. Build relationships and you'll get a lot further then trying to pull something over on them.

Also, be smart about covering your tracks please. It's a lot easier for network xyz to say I didn't know what was going on to the advertiser. And the advertiser to take longer to figure out if you're going to try something shady if you cover your tracks well.

I've been banned from Adsense numerous times and CJ. It's weird because I just all of a sudden couldn't login to my CJ account anymore. I never got an email telling me why I was banned, it's just now I don't have an account anymore. They won't answer my emails and if I do "Forgot Password" for my email I don't get any response.

The worst part is I still get all their fucking spam about new programs that I can't join. I should sue their asses because there is no way for me to opt out of the emails now that I don't have an account.

fuckers.

I got kicked out of CPA Empire because I made some money with them and then stopped promoting their offers (more for lack of time than anything else).

I ignored their emails asking me to do more promotion (I just figured they were canned emails that are sent out by almost every network) and then finally when I got some time, I went to log in again and was locked out.

I need to get around to sending them a tax form cos they never sent me the money I earned either.

I recently asked to be let back in and they just ignored me.

I was banned from ebay a couple of years ago - some nimrod did a VERO on me for selling a similar product to his. A product that I made myself. This was back when the "satellite tv on your pc" products were first selling. I didn't know anything about filing a counter notice at the time, so I just kept on selling my product - I found it hard to stop when I was making 1k per day. Ebay kicked me - and instead of filing a counter notice, I just opened several new accounts. Now I'm permanently banned, I have not been able to open an account, even after moving to a new house, using a new creditcard, new ip address, new email, new dog - lol.

Oh well - I took my product over to Clickbank - only to find that the same nimrod was selling over there, so I decided to forget it. Now that nimrod has one of the highest selling products on clickbank.

Guess I should have been more aggressive.

I've had probably around 60 accounts banned from eBay, maybe even more.

It's easy to get a new eBay account. Call your credit card company and say you lost your card so they issue a new number. Then add an additional name/user to your credit card account and open an eBay account in that name. You can use the same bank account information for any account and it will be ok.

I'm on CJ and I just got banned from ProductTestPanel. I used their name on the site which is against the TOS. Which is stupid bc all I did was give my visitors info on them to show they're legit which ultimately just brought us more sign ups. It got me a $1.50 and got them who knows how many completed offers!

This blows...

I have been banned from Adsense, YPN, and Bidvertiser. There is nothing I can do to get a new Adsense account either. I have tried 4 different computers in 3 different towns. I have tried using 3 different names and tried opening an account under Tasen Software (I DBA as Tasen). I have tried creating a blogger.com blog and setting up an Adsense account that way. Nothing works. YPN won't let new members in (I even applied for a biz account with Tasen). Bidvertiser I don't care about even though they owe me about $200, plus I deserved to get banned from there anyway.

In conclusion, I have learned my lessons about greed and trying to manipulate the system. If you think you have a scheme to make a quick buck by gaming a big name search company, you are wrong. If you think you have a scheme to lose all your money and to get banned by a big name search company, you are right.

I've been banned by one particular advertiser on a cpa network. No big deal it wasn't targeted at me specifically, they banned a whole buch of people at one time. Probably "poor conversion" or something.

I was banned from a campaign by an advertiser on a CPA network because they hadn't secured permission from Acme Widgets to offer "Free Acme Widgets" in exchange for completing "participation requirements". They didn't bother to provide rules for the campaign(keyword restrictions, disallowed ad copy, etc). Naturally, I had "Acme Widgets" on my landing page (just like they did). Not only did they ban me from that campaign once Acme Widgets went after them, but they also refused to pay me for around $9,000 in revenue I'd generated before they banned me. Fortunately, the CPA network did the right thing and paid me out of their own pocket.

mafia style shakeout on the web!

I've been banned from Adsense, CJ, and eBay a couple of times.

I deserved losing my Adsense account but not my CJ account. I was black hatting CJ but they accused me of something I wasn't doing and banned me for that. Someday soon I'll go back to blackhatting them the way I was before and cover my ass to not have the same problem again.
