Hi,

Does anyone know how Baidu works and based on what criteriums you can rank there ?

Overall, anyone located in asia or in the philippines, feel free to PM me, i need someones insight over there, and almoust certanly i would have a full time job offer for you. Would have around 10 projects to start off over there.

Thanks.

in/ph don't use baidu themselves. neither do they speak the same language, or even write in the same alphabet to begin with. be highly skeptical of any indian offering baidu advice.

baidu is essentially a google clone. in every way you could imagine. it ranks on links, quality, puts big preference on forums, there is PPC just like adwords, and the engine is (for now...) wide open to private automation

all in all, the same stuff that ranks top10 in google, would rank top10 in baidu. just... your sources must be chinese properties.

PS: they don't catch paid links

I have use baidu when I was working for our HK office doing their due diligence before. It basically works like google.com. This is basically a search engine for Chinese and Japanese speakers.

The name "Baidu" is a quote from the last line of Xin Qiji's classical poem "Green Jade Table in The Lantern Festival" saying: "Having searched for him hundreds and thousands of times in the crowd, suddenly turning back by chance, I find him there in the dimmest candlelight."

I need someone, who can translate my site into chinese (assuming, baidu gets most searches in that language) and then submit it into Baidu and then builds links for it to gain rank and position.

i offer baidu seo

if your budget is the equiv. of 8000 cny /mo pm me to rank. 3 kws at once

For the translation part, it is better I suggest you try to post a job opening regarding this. And then make sure the one you will hire has SEO experience if just in case you have budget for this.

Do not rely on the translator online though. Sometimes, their translations aren't that accurate.
