Hey guys,

I saw a rumor floating yesterday on Twitter about HasOffer links that might have got banned from Facebook ads. I'm having problems with one of my camp right now that since yesterday, Facebook is pausing all my good ads for no specific reason except that one:

Thanks for advertising with Facebook. Our system has detected an issue with the settings of one or more of your Facebook Ads, and the affected ads have been automatically paused as a result. It is possible that the landing page of an Ad has changed, an event has passed, or some other issue has occurred. You can view or make changes to your paused ad(s) in your Ad Manager. Please note you may receive a separate e-mail for each of your paused ads.

I tried to unpause them but they always repause them a few minutes later automatically. This campaign only uses the tracking link provided by HasOffer. I also tried to load new ads but they get refused by Facebook for the following reason:

The destination URL of this ad either violates Facebook's Advertising Guidelines or could not be accessed for review Please check the URL you have submitted to ensure that all spelling is correct and that it complies with our Advertising Guidelines. Please note that all sites must be viewable and functioning properly, regardless of the viewer's location. Additionally, all sites are prohibited from linking to proprietary file types (.pdf, .doc, etc.), initiating automatic downloads, trapping a user's browser in any way (e.g., pop-ups of any kind), and from linking to Pages and Platform content that violates our guidelines. Before resubmitting your ad, please visit our Help Center for additional information and examples of ads that are compliant with our Advertising Guidelines.

Is there anyone else who have the same problem? Anyone knows a solution to this?

Thanks a lot!

This only effects go2cloud.org

If you're using that domain, spend $8 so that you're using your own domain name for your tracking links and you'll be ok.

I wish I had done that before, HasOffer confirmed the banning, now I got a ton of campaigns with go2cloud.org that are messed. I understand the problem but damn, I hate it.

TIP FO YA ASS.

if you're direct linking, always push your FB links through a redirect script on you're own domain / hosting - that way you can change the link on the fly if you need too.

SUCCESS

Right, because Facebook isn't smart enough to look at nslookup and find the CNAME required to set this up. This is only going to delay the inevitable.

Right, the solution my account manager at HasOffer gave me is to simply buy a new IP for 200 bucks per month and then I should be safe. How great

$200 for a new ip? WTF it's $2/mo on almost every web host.

A) Use a cloaking script
B) Buy a redirect domain & privatize the domain
