Grrr, being punished from Google? Question for those in the know

If you look all the way on the bottom I have a link set there I get paid monthly from.

i used to rank #1 for "metal forum" for a long time. Now, I am not even showing up on the first ten pages...I am thinking by accepting these links I have killed my rankings. Can anyone verify that this "practice" would do that to me?

If so I will kill them immediately and try to fix this.
 


Yeah, I would get rid of them. There are a ton of threads on DP of people getting hurt in the serps because of the coop. Google is on to them and I'm pretty sure Matt Cutts singled out the coop in one of his posts.
 
Ok, just looked again and maybe you aren't using the coop. But it is basically the same thing.

I know I used to have thousands of pages in the index now I show a total of 708 - so something is definitely up :( - Damn I'll have to find a way to make up that extra $ now, it was pretty nice.
