I hope this isn't in the wrong section but I really want expose A2ads (formerly Flux Ads) for the scamming thieves they are.

I used to use them a few years ago and they always ended up paying me even though they were late sometimes. It had been about a year since I had used them up until last month, I started running an offer with them that was converting good. I was putting in 8+ hours a day in monitoring and adjusting my campaigns, tweaking things, and working hard for about a month and a week with them.

During that time I was emailing back and forth with the owner, Jon Lyons, about getting a payout raise, and other offers, he would ALWAYS respond within 24 hours of each email. I also asked me if he could get me on weekly wires which he said he would at the 1st of this month. About a week into the month I noticed no payment, so instantly stopped traffic and emailed him for status, days go by no response, so more emails from me, weeks go by no response.

I got worried and googled around, I found tons of threads from within the last year of people on forums complaining they were also robbed of their commissions by Jon. He would do the old tried and true trick of telling people to increase volume, and then ban them once it was time to pay them, and ignore all their emails as well.

I tried calling the numbers they have provided, his cell phone says his inbox is full and can't take any new messages (probably other people he scammed have filled it up) and I left voice mails at his office number that never got returned.

This is a very very big hit to me, I am extremely distraught over him screwing me over like this for no reason. All my traffic was legitimate, and I complied to all the terms the offer was asking. I paid over $900 for my traffic, and dedicated about 5 weeks to getting the results of $1,900, so I am basically out $3,000 now because of this guy, as well as 5 weeks of 8+ hour long days of productivity lost.

Has anyone ever been able to shut down a scamming CPA like what a2ads is doing? How can I press charges against them, or if that's not an option, does anyone know what measures or a good attorney I can contact who will be able to help me recover my money back?

I am just so bummed and pissed off about this guy doing this, I had planned my whole next couple of months around having that payment, as well as I have important expenses coming up I need to cover that I won't be able to now.

Would really appreciate some advise on how I should proceed in going after this guy Jon Lyons and A2ads

55 views and no one has any idea of how I can make this scumbag pay me the money he owes me, or how we can shut him down so he can't continue to scam others?

How did Ryan Eagle get shut down, wasn't he doing the same thing to affiliates?

You won't be able to press charges. Forget about that. Also the money due is too small to get an attorney involved. Lawyers don't work for free and they'd never take a case like this on contingency.

Move on, join a different affiliate network, and do your homework on them and regularly check what people are saying about them.

I'm not gonna let this go, i'm gonna go after this guy, I know he lives in San Diego, finding out other personal information about him won't be too hard. I'll pay him a face to face visit. Jon Lyons, you made a huge mistake you worthless piece of shit.

I'll pay him a face to face visit.

Sure you will...

Why not just pursue him in small claims court? Probably better than a face-to-face confrontation where you will probably lose it and end up in more trouble.

Sure you will...

I will. It's 2016, anyone can find anyone these days, especially this scum bag who has tons of public information on him available.

I've honestly never been as pissed at anyone in my life as I am at this sack of garbage Jon Lyons, i'm more motivated to pay him a visit than i've been about just about anything else. The opportunity cost lost, plus the commission I earned that he's not paying me, and the $900 I spent in buying traffic makes my blood boil soooo much, I can't even describe the amount of rage and anger I feel towards this coward.

If it's the last thing I do on this planet, I will do something about this guy doing this to me, I will NEVER let this go.

You're telling me if this would of happend to you, you'd do nothing about it? This is beyond necessary to be done, this is about principle and sweet revenge.

Is this the first time you've ever been burned with money before? Listen, I know it sucks, but dude just move on. If it makes you feel any better, throw up an ROR, CB, and Youtube video about how dude stole your money. In the end, you're only out $900. Consider yourself lucky. My lead generation company has been stiffed for 6 figures before and there is nothing you can do if that person is broke or the company goes bankrupt.

How about you do this. Find a supplier for the offer you were running. Brand it yourself. Cut out the dipshit middle man. Cause at least then, you only have to worry about customers paying you.

Thanks man for your post. Those are encouraging words. It's not just the $900 I spent that i'm out, the $1,900 he didn't pay that i'm out, but I also lost a full month of 8+ hour long days I put in finding, tweaking, experimenting, analyzing, and adjusting my method. I had such high hopes and it turns out this fraudster just crushed me for no damned reason. I know I should let it go, but I just can't, it's so hard to just go about my day without thinking of this ass hole and what he's done, my mind instantly only think of getting revenge. I know that getting my money back is not possible, but I know that getting sweet revenge and making this piece of filth's life a living hell is possible.

Dude, as you appear to be a fellow Tennessean, I'm gonna try to be gentle here, but that's not really my nature, so bear with me:

You state that you "Paid" over $900, then "Earned" around $1,900, so you're "Out" 3K?

What The Fuck kind of math is that? You learn that in McMinnville Public or something? If what you say is accurate, you're out Under a Grand. I think you mean you "Spent" $900 to do $3,000 in revs, for a gross (before taxes) ROI of $1,900? Amirite?

Peachy. Wait... for over 5 fucking weeks of 8+ hour days? 200+ Man Hours!? Let's do a little MORE math...

$1,900/200 = $9.50 a fucking hour. Bro- I mean, Really?

Look, I understand training investment- I do it all the time in my own business. And if that's what you were doing, i.e. risking capital to develop skills for future gain, then fine- kudos to you.

But it sounds like you couldn't afford to lose this money- and that was a mistake. You reek of desperation, and you have a completely ass-backwards idea of what "Due Diligence" means:

I got worried and googled around, I found tons of threads from within the last year of people on forums complaining they were also robbed of their commissions by Jon.
You do this shit BEFORE you invest time or money in ANYTHING.

Now here's the golden lining: You've developed some seriously valuable skills- you know how to buy and drive some traffic, and you've gotten an insanely valuable lesson. Where you take it is up to you.

My advice is to take a breather, build your war chest, then come back here and ask for a recco to a "Quality" agency that won't fucking hose you. They're out there ;-)

But wait until you have THOUSANDS in risk capital, and DON'T waste your time on adolescent revenge fantasies.

hth.

Yeah, I didn't quite explain the math correctly in my rage and disgust at a2ads. Another reason I am extremely pissed is because the method I was using is no longer viable.

More than anything i'm pissed that CPA companies can just up and decided to rob their affiliates one day and there are no repercussions for committing out right fraud and theft. It's bull shit and they need to be held accountable.

I don't always agree with Galacon, but this is super Galacon wisdom. It doesn't happen often. Embrace it.. It's a fucking unicorn.

LOL, so fucking true. My muse was totally gay tonight.

I blame it all on Wild Turkey American Honey, thanks very much.

Yeah, yeah, blah blah blahbity balls. Next time do your research first, as previously stated.

What are you. a fucking ??? You want "Justice"? LOL... Get over your bad self already, and learn a new trick.

You're ignoring the future potential income and scalability. Everyone knows most of the work is at the beginning with affiliate campaigns, once you get the fucker profitable you sit back and let the money roll in for a while.

What kind of smarmy kindergarten shit math is this?

The fact that he made a profit at all is commendable considering most "successful" cunts here turned out to be doing something fraudulent.

Read the whole thread before you weigh in, you smarmy little cocksucker:

I had planned my whole next couple of months around having that payment, as well as I have important expenses coming up I need to cover that I won't be able to now.

Does that sound like he was testing with risk capital and planning to scale? FUCK YOU. And further...

I already acknowledged your point, you dripping little goat's tool.

wtf.
