He's a one year old dachshund named Chuk:

Got him from a couple who had adopted him but turned out the husband is allergic to dogs. He's already a stellar dude, still learning Jhis name but is playful and loves to cuddle. Since I work at home I'm stoked to have a buddy chillin with me during the day. Plus he doesn't bark at all which is awesome.

I got my son a Pug and he never barks either. I love it, because when he does bark I know something is wrong. If you're dog is the same way I suggest you actually get up and go see what he's barking at. It will probably warrant your attention.

Cute dog as well :)

Congratulations - I have one myself. It's pretty funny, every time I hop on a conference call my dog likes to bark and then I pretend like it didn't happen because I like giving business people the impression that I actually work from my office (it's reserved mainly for accountants, lol)

Nice dog, your going to love having him. I know everyone feels like they have the best dog, but I can honestly I have the best dog for me.

No, I actually do have the best dog. I can drop food on the ground in front of her and she won't grab it. I can leave her outside unattended with no leash and no fence and she won't go anywhere. She'll drop anything and come when she hears my fingers snap once. And she looks badass.

Dogs are awesome, way better than cats (come at me l2y) and like you said they're good to keep around if you work from home.

Very similar to my dog. He opens doors. He can let himself out the sliding glass door, just wish he would shut it. I can point to anywhere and he will get or go there. I can say get "X" toy (he has the same 8 or 10 or so) and he will get it. Ive spent every single day with him since he was a puppy. Listens to me 100% and knows the rules.

I adopted a 1 year old rottweiler about 6 years ago and she has been the best friend I could ever ask for. She's kind of old now so she just lays around on the couch and chills out while I work.

Dogs are awesome. You made a wise decision in adopting that guy!
