Anyone else see a big change this week? Google turned down the knobs quite a bit for onpage keyword densities? Or are we one of the last ones who track exact percentages and see this shit?

We always like to keep the numbers turned up to near max so we dont have to throw so many links at sites, and we see a big change just rolling out. We have about 300 websites and the change is very evident across all.

But don't hear any mention of it... everyone on summer holidays?

yeah I have seen some irrelevant results on top 100 positions, results till top 20-30 are relevant, after that results are not so good. I dont know what is going on with google.

You believe Google is now punishing websites with high keyword densities? I own a bunch of websites cranked to the max too and I haven't seen any movement whatsoever.

I keep our inbound anchor maxed as well as onpage. We have to turn it down now to stay on top. Easy fix but just curious why there were not more talk about it.

More than likely its just you and that's why no one is talking it about.

If you had been using SERPWoo ( which originally launched here ), you could have looked and seen the week you are talking about ( last week ) had barely any movement so it was within normal...

SERPWoo, ha ha ha

I am old and do not like to use automated anything. All our SEO is done manually, no automated shit. Maybe we are of the few that keep our sites at the redline so we know when Google changes something. Most people dont even like to put in the work to know what the exact percentages of shit is, they just buy more and more links and hope for the best.

Old School SEO is Dead

Not sure I understand what you're talking about?

We don't do SEO for you, so not sure what you mean by automated or old school SEO really.

We monitor billions of new rows daily for SERPs over several years and crunch that data to find changes and trends in SERP data. If there was an algo update, we would have 110% seen it.

We've caught algo updates no one even knows about or talks about. The ones people do find, we find them hours ahead of time. We don't have to guess or ask others, we see the data change in real time. Nothing automated SEO wise, just tracking SERP and algo data...

If you want a leg up, then I would consider looking into it and getting your data firsthand as it happens so you can figure out faster what's going on Google-wide, and your direct SERP-wide.

He's confused between analytics provider and getting shit done services.. it happens.

Looks like we were one of the first to notice, we saw it starting early June, then later in the month this started coming out... just say'in
June 25th Google Search Algorithm Update Was Real

I am old school and proud of it, SEO only dead to the lazy automated types. New school should be called lazy ass school in my eyes, trusting automated tools 100% to get shit done instead of good "old school" methods.

We all saw the update on the 23rd-25th

What you mentioned was first week of June, which saw no algo update.. but normal fluctuations

However, you could seen SERP specific movements also with our Volatility feature as well just for your own keywords and niche IF there was something in your specific vertical/SERP that got impacted.

More than likely, you got impacted first week of June from the update that happened around 5-23 ( see above ) that ended up impacting you in your niche a week later.

Didn't notice any change... what niches? All of your website traffic from organic search? How do you monetize it?
