It has great potential, hopefully they implement some security features as well because some lucrative people would be able to steal your money quite easily.

Now maybe Paypal will die a slow and painful death - or at least pick up their game (and stop delaying payments for bullshit reasons and refusing to compensate when they do release them).
Not saying Google will do a better job, or always do a better job - but Paypal will have to fucking compete or die.
Going to be very interesting seeing where this will lead given Google's involvement in advertising.

This is all about paying through smartphones, while PayPal is about online payment. I don't think it will hurt Paypal much so as to push it toward competition.
One more giant step for Google to take over the world. Somewhat scared, somewhat excited to have any easy way to pay online...
