Hi all,

This is my first post, so I figured this would be a good place to start.

I run a few ecommerce websites (3 to be specific) and recently started adding items to Google Shopping/ checkout (I know I was very late to the game, but a few complications came up). All three stores are ran through Magento.

I added about 100 products from one website to be available for checkout with Google shopping about a month and a half ago. We installed the Google checkout extension with Magento so this was as simple as selecting all of the products to add, and selecting "yes" from a dropdown. As you can expect sales went up pretty quickly, but I noticed a decline in the last week or so. I just saw an email today stating that after 30 days products are automatically removed from Google Checkout, and need to be re added, explaining last weeks drop in sales.

Besides adding another annoying task to my to do list each month this is especially a problem for me since I was planning on using the same process for another website I am preparing to launch which will contain a few thousand products rather than 100. I am not sure if I want all of the products on the new website eligible for checkout and obviously sorting through thousands of products every month is a waste of time and just not an option for me.

Has anyone else run into this problem and figured out a way to auto-renew products, or another solution?

A LONG LONG time ago, I used Google Shopping and there was a way to upload to their ftp your data, or have them pull it. If memory serves me correctly we uploaded every monday the feed, this will help:

When uploading your data feed to Google Merchant Center, you have three upload options. Once you have uploaded a data feed, you may also create a schedule to update your feed automatically.

I believe I setup a cronjob for this. But yeah, that's the solution you want if I'm not mistaken.
