Worst news I've gotten this month. I was seriously about ready to go order one of the Model S Performance's this weekend (probably still will). The big G already controls too much of my life: time, income, phone, soon internet (live in Utah), and now they want my car?

I highly doubt Elon would sell his baby, especially given their increasingly improving financials. I could possibly see a partnership though given the research Google is doing with self-driving vehicles...

Had an interesting look over the financials of Tesla and impressively they seem to be improving noticeably.
Definitely the board and Elon will be taking that into consideration which ultimately puts Google's take over as a rumor.
