Google announced today that they're laying off 200 employees. If they're strapped for cash why the fuck are there so many restrictions on the content network? Seems strange and sucks for those 200 people.

I doubt they're strapped for cash.

If you read their blog post it attempts to explain it, it does say that all of those 200 are going to be given time to find another position WITHIN google...
