Google Content Network - no impressions

Late last week I started a new Campaign on the Google Content Network with about 20 Ad Groups averaging 40 keywords for each (tightly themed).

I asked for an even showing throughout the day, with a daily Ad Spend of $10 and a CPC per Ad Group or $1.00 for text ads (no images).

Over two days I received nearly 240k impressions and got 28 clicks. All of the impressions occurred from midnight to 4 am, when my ad spend was reached (again, I asked to be shown throughout the day, expecting some load balance).

I modified the schedule to only show my ads from 6 am thru midnight (all week), and suddenly my impressions went to zero.

I contacted Google by email (can't get thru by phone anymore), and they said to go 24 hrs on the schedule to test. I did this with no change -- still zero impressions.

There is no issue with my account (no messages of info from Google).

Does anyone have any ideas?

Btw, if Yahoo or MSN had a Content Network (with site Placement as well) I would drop Google in a flash. They are a real pain to work with.

Thanks in advance.

Wow that sounds like a pretty crazy. I personally am having issues with google as well who have decided to tell me they won't use my credit card anymore for reasons that are unknown to me. It's a debit card, I have money in my bank account, and my bank said there is nothing wrong with my card and that they have not seen any withdrawal requests from google. Go figure...They said on their forum that my account is probably being reviewed. For 6 days though? yeah right. So...if this doesn't resolve itself in the next day or so Google is history in my advertising. (Yes, I submitted a support inquiry and have yet to receive a response from them).

So...what I'm saying is...I feel your pain brother, Google is FRUSTRATING at the best of times.

I hear you Jon.

I was advised to just go to Yahoo for search traffic. I will try to see this to the end, but Google is becoming too painful to deal with.

Btw, are you being coached by a guru, or are you the guru?

goodluck with yahoo search, it's fucking terrible. I've never converted anything on search, only their content. If you can find a nice yahoo search guide, I'd love to see it because so far, I'm getting clicks from like the philippines and the UK in my USA targetted only campaigns....
