I have been searching for a script to use for a content store. Thought maybe someone might have come across something that would work. Needs to have a plugin for paypal and echeckout, field showing a preview of text, and a way of having separate logins for authors and buyers. Was thinking maybe I could use phpdirectory or maybe even wordpress.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance Lorna

If you just need PayPal and Echeckout plugins, it sounds simple enough to do with very basic PHP. You can generate your own PayPal scripts from the PayPal site. You'll have to do it for each item.

If you were to really need a script, Wordpress seems like a reasonable option. You can give users rights to publish (authors), and you can just let anyone buy without registering. You'll still have to generate the code from the PayPal site for each item - unless there is WP store plugin of some kind. I'd imagine Echeckout also has something in their user panel where you can generate the code for your site for people to checkout using Echeckout.

Yeah thanks those are good.

Maybe I'll search some more for a script for a store more for text based products. Or maybe some type of cms script.
