GoDaddy Domain Auction Discount Code Needed

Anyone got a discount code for GoDaddy's tdnam.com domain auction/bid site? I've tried all the ones above before ... and damn, it's getting expensive.

can't believe yall are still using godaddy, etc.
isn't it time to move to 1and1? domains are 5.99 (no minimum) and you get one for free with their basic package. linux and windows hosting packages start at 2.24 (includes a free domain name). can godaddy do this?

I haven't gone back and looked, but I know right now if you get 3 domains with Godaddy and use hash 3, you can get all 3 with privacy for like $21.60 out the door.

I know others are cheaper, and I have domains with several providers, but I still buy domains from GoDaddy from time-to-time.

You can do the online file folder discount thing like this also:

When you are renewing a domain 1st go to email then Online File Folder for 4.99. This gets you the domain for 1.99 then use the promo code "saveten"
Domain price 1.99
file folder price 4.99
10% discount - .50
total 6.48

This was for a .us domain that would have cost 7.99 other wise. I used it for a .org also that would have cost 9.24 but ended up costing 6.73. I saved 2.51 on that .org. Also just worked for a .net and ended up at 6.73 saving 2.51.

Last time godaddy had this kind of thing going it was with adding traffic facts but they caught on and made that a minimum 3 mo purchase so it killed the deal. Plus with traffic facts you would have to go to recurring items and remove it or they would nick you for another 4.99 the next month. I checked and this file folder thing does not show up under "renewing items" so it is a one time charge and you don't have to remember to go and cancel it. I will be watching this later though just in case.

Grab all you can before daddy figures out the little trick and slams the door.
