FTC Halts Deceptive Practices of Marketer Who Collected $359 Million

Ah I thought this first was stating FTC is not allowing any negative-options anymore, which would run through many online and offline companies that don't even deal with affiliates. Jesse is a guy most of us have heard his story, and the fedtradecomm went after him a year or two ago hard so I'm surprised this is now being published as new. His main issue was not allowing the customers who wanted to opt out before their trial period was up to do so, in turn forcefully having them pay the re-bill. This is where his plan backfired.

So let's hear it! What separated him from everyone else for multivariate testing?

Just dedication to it. If you ever saw any of the landers for his products, they generally had about 6 pages worth of content on them, constantly changing them...and i mean constantly. Most of us who have been around for a few years will remember his famous wu-yi tea lander with the asian guy claiming to be Jesse Willms. At first glance the landers always looked just awful and cluttered, but those things converted like crazy. Crazy like...the only diet rebill you could run traffic direct to without a presell and it would double your money crazy.
Keep in mind, Jesse has been shut down before so I imagine he has some cash stashed in the back yard or something.
