Might be useful if you need to ssl a ton of crappy sites since google uses it as a ranking factor now. I would go with paid SSL for my main sites.

Thanks for sharing but paid SSL is more preferred than this.

One thing to note if you decide to use this is that they do not set the HTTPS flags like you would expect. If you're trying to detect if the request is secured or not, you have to use the variable "X-FORWARDED-PROTO" instead of what you normally check.
