So after a very long thread posted months before

http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/59539-campaign-builder-tool-web-based-pc-app-net.html

finally we have a beta version of our campaign creator . It can group keywords automatically and based on the grouping exports to google and msn (yahoo to be added soon ) . Also , it can group keywords by n (defined by user) kw per adgroup.Ah I forgot , it's web based so no need to run windows :moon: .

You can play with it here :

http://64.214.191.174:8080/CampaignBuilder/

Let me know what you think and if you find any bugs post here , as it's still in beta.

I just had a quick glance at it. Couple of things that would help me personally:

Yahoo support
Ability to name the adgroups without using keywords. something like a fixed-prefix+serial number.

It is definitely a good start

How do I know that you're not going to simply steal my campaigns? You should release an open-source version a la Prosper202.

^^^^ yeah i personally wouldn't run anything but a test through this.

no offence i appreciate that you may be just giving back, but i don't know you and well its a dog eat dog world.

I understand your doubts , but I created a web version as the result of poll here

@onetwo
basically it's like the tracking202 pro . Who assures you they aren't going to copy your profitable campaigns ( they have all the data they need ) ? It's up to you if you want to use it :)

@itchy
I don't blame you,I would act the same way . Feel free to test it and post what new features/ bugs corrected you would like to see

Fast reactions in this thread, commended.

And I have used the tool affaholic talked about. It is good but makes a shit ton of ad groups.

If you're so paranoid and it's a .NET app just decompile it using Reflector and see what it's doing.

What he said!

Great points! I can't believe I didn't make it available originally as I hate closed source nazis. I too was involved with the original thread .. it stretched my brain a bit but was fun as hell.

My version has been run 1,100 times and only recently has someone requested a version of their own ... and that was only because he wanted to make sure he had access in case anything happened to CampaignSniper.

I just added the download link for the source code of CampaignSniper's Keyword Grouper. Script released LGPL for maximum flexibility.

The code isn't perfect so no bitching ... I actually use a more advanced version that does a much better job matching 3 word phrases 1st (best idea for hacking this one out), accounting for misspellings & also takes volume into consideration for clients who have a report ran using CampaignSniper. That one was way to complex for me to wrap up and offer to the public.

Installation instructions included. The only modification needed is if you're wanting to download the keywords into a text file. For that, you'll have to change the domain name & make a folder called /data/ (755).

Now everything has been moved to the google app engine . New url is here :

Campaign Builder (Beta)

Because of the fear of stealing keywords , actually no one made any remarks or reported any bugs . So now , source code is available on request :) . Test it and tell me what additional features you would like to see . The initial purpose of this thread was to find bugs / give ideas in order to improve it so your comments are welcomed.

"beerc","cheap brewski",,"Brews!",""cheap brewski",! Nice huh? ","BAI NAO! NAO I SAI!","www.beer.com","www.beer.com"

Isn't there some error with the " signs?
around cheap brewski and Nice huh? parts? never uploaded this, and havent made such files myself.

also no matter what i chose {final} {seed} etc what ended up in the ads was what i sorted on. that might be improved.

also download as csv or other format ofc.

only 6 ads might be limiting.

just some thoughts.

also you might want to add a second extension for things like location, partnumber or whatever.

Suggestions or ideas are welcomed
- option to save and load campaigns incl. the settings
- ad builder: resize the input fields! you can't even read a whole ad this way!
- ad builder: show how many characters have been used per line and warn (change to red) when exceeding the limits of a ppc engine
