with all these offers coming out that are completely free (S&H not included ;)) I've been playing around between

1. saying it's completely free, have them go through the process and then saying fuck it I want this anyways.

or

2. Telling them upfront the shipping costs.

They both seem to have pro's and cons, and the only difference seems that one will have people leave right away and the other will have people leave at the end of the process.

I've actually found it to be better saying that it's free but I haven't tracked it with microscopic detail, what's your input on this?

The whole point of the LP is to sell the offer, just keep the user hooked on the product/service..until they are far too deep to turn back..

8 years ecommerse experience tells me to show it upfront, but your offer may have a surprisingly high shipping.

sure you'll loose more at thedsamianbegining but you're qualifying the traffic faster and can test other things better

also try saying shipping and the try 's&h' etc

My last test, i actually got more clicks when i stated the shipping price compared to offering it for FREE. Plus the traffic clicking the FREE ad seemed less productive.

I thought it was pretty weird - but i guess showing price sometimes adds product credibility.
