Free Internal Search

I am looking for a free internal search, that I can use on my website. I really like the functionality of WordPress search, but I am not using WordPress for this site.. If anybody knows of a good one that is free and doesn't show ads (I can host the scripts) please advise. Oh and Google's free Search tool offered with Adsense is cool but I don't think I can put the search results in my framework..

Search with PHP/Mysql is one of the easiest things to implement. You do need some knowledge though. Google fulltext.

entropy is cgi based i think. i've only used it once. it works okay.
