free dns services for domains?

do u guys know any services that give free dns for domains?
afraid.org gibves but wants domai nto be publicy shared. im sure there msut be some others but i cant find them.

yeah man all domain registrar are providing this service free, activated within 24-36 hours after you buy domain or hosting packs

I wouldn't say *all* but I know namecheap and godaddy both have built in DNS services, and namecheap even has a free DNS for people who haven't registered with namecheap.

eNom has great dns services. You can create "magic" folders where any domain put in there gets updated DNS automatically to match the folder settings.

I wouldn't use a registrar that didn't offer basic DNS and at least simple forwarding to an IP / other domain and email forwarding.

Would be surprised if there are too many out there still, because one reason they want your domains on their name servers is it allows the registrar to put up parking pages and make money on your domains if you don't do anything with them.

yeah godaddy can do all the DNS for you, even if you host elsewhere.

Having recently tried out namecheap though, I'm now utterly in love with them.

I forgot to mention that GoDaddy will give you DNS services even for domains that you haven't bought from them. I think you may have to at least own one domain at GoDaddy but then you can access Total DNS.
