Seriously though, if you are not the president of the club, you may want to talk it over with them. Maybe work out a 50/50 split, or just ask if they don't mind. As long as it's not too obtrusive, I can't imagine anyone getting upset about it.
From my experience though, unless you have a lot of non-members coming in to just check out the site, Adsense won't make you much. The only times I've seen more than 1 or 2 clicks on the Adsense stuff on my forum is when I've got a lot of non-members going through. If it's just a normal day of all members, the ads get tons of views, and no clicks. Like 2000+ views 0 clicks.

Thanks, the prez shouldn't mind. I run the internet site, actually have it on my server and don't ask anything in return from the club. I will also be running the forum for the club so I thought why not see if I can get something in return.
Also, the forum will attract a lot of non members that's what gave me the idea for the adsense.
