lol.

I always like the Forbes 400. It's very interesting to see who climbs and who falls each year, and the many different ways people make lots of money.

Buffet got in a fender bender yesterday...I think it was in Omaha dunno I just saw it on our news and wished that could have been me he ran into. :p

Yah, when a few out of billions of people make it big, wow, what a convincing argument. Too bad all the homeless people didn't drop out earlier, they'd be so much richer.

College for the win!

It's true that their is no correlation between getting a college degree and being very wealthy. But you have to admit, for every dropout that became a millionaire or billionaire, there are probably thousands of dropouts that became losers.

I say just do what works for you. I'm going to try to grow my business in school. But if my business is doing really really well...

Hopefully Warren Edward Buffett can over take bill gates...has been closing the gap lately....that would be cool i think bill gates has been #1 for some time now..

Gates is giving away all of his money. So he is bound to at least drop out of the top 10 list.

No. Anyone with drive and a shred of brains will never be homeless.

that is the truth...the most successful guy out my friends was the only one of us that didnt go to college. Of course he did deliver pizzas for the first 3 years we were in college to support himself while he started his business. We made fun of him the whole time we were in college but now he is the only one of us that actually owns his house ie. no mortgage and were not talking a shitty 200k house here. Of course he worked over 100 hours a week and had no life and still really doesnt but he has plenty of money.

Well it depends on the individual. Some people need the guidance of school & the structure of your typical work place to be successful while others can pull crap out of mid-air without any extended education and be successful.

i wonder how billionaires party...n' shoot the shit...

seriously...

Gates: "yo warren...betcha 6.5 mill that you can't drink 2 litres of milk in 10 minutes without throwing up..."

Buffet: "...betcha 7 mill and your villa in south america that i can..."

Gates & Buffett play bridge. Finance guys play Texas Hold 'Em.

Those people that need others to control their lives will never be rich. They may make some money, but they will never see the top.

Hahaha. Tell that to every Ivy League bastard at the top of Hedge Funds and IB Firms. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Man, I'd hate to go to HBS and only make $20mm/yr as a top IB Director. Man, I need to shoot for the stars and start my own PE firm, maybe even VC. John Doerr here I come. Oh, not enough, I'll start my own hedge fund too. I'd hate to waste my education.

HBS 4tw.
