Hey Guys,

How are you guys tracking your stuff when you want to track your conversions for multiple stages of an offer?

i.e. person signs up for free to your offer - BAM pixel fires, AWESOME
now I want to know if that person converts to a paid member and a pixel fire a second time indicating they converted.

I know CPVLab does this, any other options, doesnt look like Prosper can do this.

In DirectTrack you can easily track multiple stages of an offer...In short, you would set up a basic sale campaign and add a lead pixel to the offer. Example, user signs up for a trial version for the offer, you fire a lead pixel (pass a unique lead ID or fname/lname of the user through opt info variable), then if the users ends up converting into a sale, or simply doesn't cancel the trial period, you can either fire a sale pixel on the confirmation page, perform a server side post or setup an API to report the sale inside the system. If the user continues to purchase items down the road (or is auto-billed) you simply fire the same method once the funds have been charged. The system will clearly show you the lead (signup/trial period started), the initial sale (as sale) and each additional sale would be listed as a sub-sale. As long as you pass through the same details into the lead pixel and the sale pixel (ie fname/lname) you will clearly be able to track back all conversions for the lifetime of the user and be able to associate it back to the originating affiliate who referred them. You can also have differing payouts for each conversion step. Ie, $10 for the trial sign-up, 50% rev share for initial sale, and say 25% for all sales thereafter.

Hope this helps.

ive been doing this with my tracking platform to help optimize my adv's pages/offers for quite some time. Its super useful for both advertiser and affiliate if you have the ability. Unfortunately, i dont know of any platforms you can use to help your case (never needed to look i guess)

good luck.
