Finding whos behind the Domain..?

If you had all the resources in the world, know people to hire etc..

Would it be possible, to take a whois privacy protected domain, thats registered in hostgator, and find out the owners email adress, name, adress , phone number ??? Like, would it be possible on all levels, any level ? Or perhaps, its easier then that ?

Even a portion of data, would it be possible ?

Whois protection is impossible to crack. Even the FTC can't find out whois info. Good luck bro

you should stand some chance if you go by the legal course on a US company like hostgator provided the whois underneath the privacy guard is even real. If it is an offshore registrar, it will be very tough.
 
Domaintools.com has historical whois records, if they ever WEREN'T hidden, then you can get them...
