Where do you like to go and have a good meal?

My favorites (in order) are The Capital Grille, a local resturant called The Zebra, and then The Palm.

EDIT:

Dammit. I can't spell worth shit.

My favorite place in the entire world is Peter Luger in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. It's been in the same location since the 1800's, there are no formal menus, because the only real thing anyone orders is their 3-4 inch thick steaks, that go for $110 each. My 2nd favorite place in the world is a restaurant here in NYC that my father's friend owns called The Heartland Brewery. They make their own beers there too, and if any of you are ever in NYC, you can bet that this is where I am taking you out to eat at.

Damn. I wish we had some independent places like those down here, Charleston has some good eats but I've not been there enough to sample it all. NYC is certainly the culinary capital of the US.

I enjoy cooking for myself.

Oklahoma really does not have that many fancy places... only place I can really think of is Micky Mantles Bar that is located downtown here... its like $80 a steak.

My iwfe is Chinese and does not like western food. Usually we end up at an asian restaurant.
There is a Chinese restaurant near us that is the only restuarant she thinks is as good as her cooking - she's right too.

Wendy's if I'm splurgin' health wise, in any other case a nice organic meal at home.

i live in canada and there is this guy named don cherry...if you are a hockey fan you no this guy...well, he has his own chain of resturants and its is surprisingly called Don Cherry's.... well, they have the best chicked wings in the world and tuesday's they are 26 cents a wing...can't beat that

El Chilito taco stand in Austin, Texas. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a restaurant, but there are chairs, so you CAN sit down. Otherwise you just walk up to the window, order some tacos and get back to work. Best breakfast tacos I've found anywhere.

That's difficult, we got many great restaurants here. Although, as already stated here a couple of times, I really enjoy cooking at home with my girlfriend.

When I go out with here I usually prefer a restaurant called `Cena`, great food, good music and relaxing atmosphere :)
