I've worked out how to create 3 letter usernames on facebook

Anyways, since I know some of you like compare e-penises via urls owned I thought I'd drop a link here before word gets out and some fucked up bot claims em.

actually after just trying this now everything im trying is coming back not available despite not having anything for the url. looks like they fixed the problem already.

what are some of the usernames you are trying?

tried real ones that would be desirable at first, and then started trying 4 letter alphanumeric strings at random just to see if it worked (doesnt, apparently). /tim as referenced in article is a facebook employee as well, fyi.

Sorry it didn't work for you. I've got 2 yes and 1 no so far.

I still can confirm that full stops work in the urls (for any username) but whether they are in the process of changing the way validation works at sign up to ensure it is at least 5 alphanumeric characters I'm not sure. I know a name that was unavailable today and working is now returning a 404.

Your username must be at least five characters in length and only include alphanumeric characters (A-Z, 0-9), or a period or full stop (".").

@kelhalla2 - you need an existing account set up before May 3. the url should be Login | Facebook

Usernames cannot have two periods in a row.

Doesn't work for me...and here I was all ready to register Facebook.com/sex
