Facebook Impressions - WTF

Trying to get my head around FB ad/bid/impressions relationship. After about 4 days of testing it seems that there is minimal correlation between bid amount and impression volume.

Can anybody weigh in here??

Like most ad buys, it is going to be what your eCPM backs out for FB. So you have to pay attention to mor than just the bid but CTR as well.

If you bid $1 and your click thru rate is 4% is that better than if you bid $2 and your CTR was only 1%?

Right, but even my ads with high CTR havent received imps for hours. Is there a system in place by which you can effective manage/control your impressions on FB? It seems like it is just luck and bid/ctr etc is somewhat irrelevant. Please correct me if I am wrong. This is based on 4 days of test dating and Mylife ads.. Thanks

Facebook as been messing with their ads system over the last couple of weeks and it has been behaving strangely sometimes

Yeah. well read the thread. they have made changes to fix the "invalid clicks" problem, some people arent getting any impressions and then one guy reported his rep saying they were coming up with a fix for that
