What do you guys think of this video?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVfHeWTKjag]Facebook Fraud - YouTube[/ame]

*Shit, someone already shared the video... my bad.

lol @ anyone who advertises an fb page

vid is good because less people will use fb = cheaper cpc's = moar win

They're not as useless as this video makes out, but the things he points out are real and do happen when you advertise on Facebook.

I find using the device targeting in the power editor makes this less of a problem. There aren't many click farmers in Dhaka using Android 4.2+ or iPad 6+ etc.

Also FB just introduced CPA bidding for mobile apps.

I wonder if you target only US on the posts if your reach and engagement goes up...

That video is lazy and misleading and is opposite of my own experiences with advertising on FB (I manage a good number of successful pages for my own affiliate marketing and for clients).

He never gives an indication what % of likes are spam. I mean, if it's .0001%, then who cares. If it's 10%, then ok we've got something. He makes it seem like the overwhelming number of users gained from an ad campaign are spam but without giving any numbers.

This is a good response to the video:
