Has anyone noticed that a new copy of an already-approved ad has to be re-approved now? Is it possible that this is some kind of bug in my system? I've been remaking ads all day and all the sudden the ones I'm trying now say "Pending Review" instead of simply "Approved," even though they're identical to the old ones.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Yeah they seem to be checking everything in case you changed the URL or some shit who knows but even if the ads are identical they still go into the review pile.

It sucks for us because it seems like a shitty idea but I can also see a ton of reasons to why they would work it like this.

isn't that the whole point of the recreate ad - that you can't change the url? (well without a redirect script anyway)

Pretty much I'm guessing thats why they will want to re-check it to make sure its still the same landing page and if not does it still conform to there guidelines.

But it doesn't really matter 3 lines of code can get you any ad approved on Facebook.......the downfall is you have to wait for the approval.

Yeah, but they don't care if you change the demographics.

Somehow a lot of my account got missed in the inital disapproving all of the google money/grant/rebill in general ads a while back, so I had a couple great ones still running and now I can't constantly copy them and just change the demos for better targetting/testing.

auto works again, my guess they shut it off so they could finish cleaning shit out...they managed to get the rest of my good ads.

what i think is weird is that if you have an ad thats still approved (but against guidelines) and copy it, it runs for a while, then they kill it, but they never kill the original ad that your copying.

I find that strange too, I've actually had someone look at my own account say hey that ad slipped through the cracks it should not be there we don't allow that offer.

Then do nothing about it because its already been approved and is active.
