On the firing line
Here's the deal is, I have "Go-fuck yourself-daddy" and they don't have a cron manager or anyway to run cron jobs that I can find. So, I was thinking of putting a 1x1px iframe on a page that opens the page I want to set up in the cron job. I would do this on a site that gets very little traffic.

Anybody have any other suggestions?

Yeah, that should work. Then in the cron page, just check the time. It's not as efficient as a real one but it will work.

Seems like the best thing to do. Only other thing I can think is to have a console app on your computer calling it via sockets, but that's assuming its on 24/7 etc.

All else fails, ask someone else with a cron-enabled host to wget/lynx it. :)

Are you trying to run a script on your godaddy hosted website? What about a cron job on ANOTHER machine that uses curl to access whatever script you want to run?

I was thinking that after Bofu2U comment. I've got Xampp on this machine and it's running almost all the time anyhow. I think I'll probably do something like that.

Thanks everyone!
