I have an herbal remedies book I am promoting and I'm having a hard time with writing benefits vs. features of what the ebook offers.

Are there resources or website or swipe file that shows what benefits (as opposed to features) are in the health niche?

So you're unfamiliar with the benefits of the book you're promoting? Maybe you should read it.

Please post the ebook so I may take a look at the benefits. I am a professional copywriter who also understands very well how to sell on the benefits but it's kind of hard to help you without a website or ebook to look at.

features in the sales copy

Please post the ebook so I may take a look at the benefits. I am a professional copywriter who also understands very well how to sell on the benefits but it's kind of hard to help you without a website or ebook to look at.

Here is a list of what I put in the sales copy:

• High blood pressure - garlic and fish oil is good for this
• How your tube of toothpaste can be a ticket to clearing that annoying acne
• How oats, chocolate and lavender can help ease anxiety
• What cayenne and arnica can do for your arthritis
• Psyllium, flax seed & coffee can help get rid of constipation and get you feeling regular again
• Have a night on the town and now you have a bad hangover? Honey and willow bark is your answer
• How to calm down your nausea (peppermint, ginger)
• And much, much more!

Here is a list of what I put in the sales copy:

• High blood pressure - garlic and fish oil is good for this <--- this isn't a benefit
• How your tube of toothpaste can be a ticket to clearing that annoying acne <--- where is the benefit here? clearing acne or helping you to fuck like a pornstar? see where I am going?
• How oats, chocolate and lavender can help ease anxiety <--- still not seeing any benefits, what's easing anxiety going to do?
• What cayenne and arnica can do for your arthritis <--- nothing here says benefits, this supposed to promote arthritis development?
• Psyllium, flax seed & coffee can help get rid of constipation and get you feeling regular again <--- still no benefits, where are they?
• Have a night on the town and now you have a bad hangover? Honey and willow bark is your answer <--- PM Jeffrey
• How to calm down your nausea (peppermint, ginger) <--- Not a single benefit
• And much, much more! <--- this isn't even a good feature

There is no criteria for these bullet points, they suck. What problem are you trying to solve, you're all over the fucking place. This whole thing is just a mess.

A benefit is something you get as a result of the features. I.e lose weight so someone will actually fuck you.

Outsource the e-book writing and while you're at it, outsource the PPC campaign, the SEO campaign, and all major decisions to someone who isn't a blithering idiot.

Just say that Oprah and Dr Oz recommend it cures cancer and you can't lose!

OP: If you experiment with wormweed, monkshood and crushed morning glory seeds you should experience the difference between features and benefits of a few herbal remedies.
